Functional Composite Structure (FCS)

Background

The Functional Composite Structure (FCS) is one of the research groups in Hybrid Composite Research Cluster (HCRC) under the Department of Materials and Design Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. FCS was established to support the enhancement of the development of composite focusing on metallic, ceramic and polymeric materials.

FCS ensures the field of functional composite structure to remain competitive and as to support the HCRC in UTHM. Our group focusses on discoveries in materials science and processing of composite materials. Critical researches and innovative solutions are continuously conducted by talented synergised research workforce via the FCS main research areas.
