Background

Masters of Science in Materials Engineering is a mix-mode postgraduate academic programme which specializes on materials structures, properties, processing and characterisation techniques. The main objective for the establishment of this programme is to produce postgraduates in the field of materials engineering with specialization in materials to fulfil the need of Malaysia's modern industries such as manufacturing and production, research and development work, maintenance and disposal, education etc. The programme equips students with sufficient materials engineering knowledge and soft skills to enable them to work effectively, not only toward their degree but also to deal with problems encountered in an increasingly competitive technological world

Programme Information

Semester Intake:
The program is available for Semester 1 (September) intake and Semester 2 (February) intake
 
General requirement:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Science from recognised University with related experience in related field recognised by UTHM Senate, with CPA ≥ 2.75
 
English requirement:
Minimum score of TOEFL 500 or score of 5.0 IELTS or at least Band 3 MUET or equivalent
