On 14th March 2024, Two speakers from Faculty of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (FKMP), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) were invited to sharing knowledge about NDT: Technology and Employment Opportunities at Kolej Vokasional (KV), Batu Pahat, Johor, as CSR activity. AP Ir Dr Shahrul Azmir Osman and Ir Dr Eliza Binti M. Yusup were sharing some knowledge and experience in the said field with about 50 students of Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) and Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SVM) from Welding Technology Program. The program was fully supported by Director of KV; Mr. Abd. Rashid Bin Masduki and the coordinator; Mr. Mohd. Dinie Hafiq Bin Adam. For the first session, the speakers were invited to meet and greet with the director at the director’s office where he expressed his appreciation for the sharing session. Next, the sharing session was held at a conducive classroom with the first speaker was briefly explaining about conventional method of NDT that frequently practice in industry. Followed by second speaker that explaining the opportunities for NDT career in industry. Finally, the students were given opportunity to join the practical session with equipment NDT of method Ultrasonic Testing.
