The International Conference on Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering with the theme Sustainable Engineering towards Green Technology will be held on 20 and 21 November  2012. The conference is organized by the Faculty of Mechanical & Manufacturing, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) to show that the University shows great interest in Mechanical & Manufacturing in green technologies development..

This conference is held mainly to improve the quality of research generally based on idea sharing. This would also help the university to improve the quality of teaching and learning within this institute based on the concept of sustainable development that is developed through the researches. In addition, this would be the perfect opportunity for the university to enlighten the lecturers and students on the challenges and opportunities of sustainable development within the Mechanical & Manufacturing field. As such, for those interested in participating, the secretariat would be delighted to accept their abstract complete with technical papers for consideration.

All accepted papers of ICME-2012 will be published in the Applied Mechanics and Materials Journal (ISSN: 1660-9336).
